Air Conditioning
Toronto

Toronto sits on the western shore of Lake Macquarie, and anyone who lives there knows the lake's effect on a house. In summer the air can feel thick, wardrobes smell a bit stale, and bathrooms stay damp. The lake is a big part of why people love the place, and it's also why an air conditioner has to work harder.

Gary Lui at Lilac Air Conditioning looks at humidity, not just temperature, when he sizes a system for a lakeside home. A unit that's too large can short-cycle, cooling the room quickly and switching off before it has pulled the moisture out of the air. A properly matched one runs longer at a lower effort and leaves the room drier and more comfortable.

Plenty of houses here have big windows to take in the water, which also means a lot of afternoon sun. Along the foreshore there's a small run of cafes and shops where customers notice straight away if the air is stuffy. We install and service for both, and the work is the same fixed-price, written-quote arrangement either way.

Booragul, Awaba, Fennell Bay and Carey Bay are all within reach on the same terms, and we also install ventilation if a damp bathroom or laundry is the real issue. Sometimes a fan in the right spot does more good than a bigger air conditioner, and he'll tell you when that's the case.
